One address reaches the people who write the rules — and it is the only channel we run. No contact form, no phone number, no ticket system: a form that fails is a black hole, and an email address is not. It is the same address that sends your reports, so it is genuinely watched.

What to put in the message

• The URL you checked, and the report link if you have one. Reports live at unguessable addresses, so that link is the fastest way for us to look at the same data you did.
• What you expected, and what you saw instead. A finding you think is wrong is the most useful kind of mail: we can re-run the fetch and correct the rule.
• If the page could not be checked at all. Say whether it sits behind a login, a firewall or a client-rendered page — that is usually enough to tell whether the problem is on our side or the site's.
